Sponsored Walk

Kursaal Conservative Future organised a fancy dress sponsored walk to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis.

A group of 18 people walked along the coastal path from Leigh on Sea train station to Shoebury.  £300 was collected in the process!  It was great that people were generous and supported the cause.

Meeting Residents

On Saturday 17th July myself and Cllr Blaine Robin visited residents in Honinton Road.  It was good to speak with residents and assist with any issues that we could help with.  This lady – Sheila has lived in Honinton Road a long time and has seen many changes in the road and surrounding community.

Turning Tides – Junior Wardens Presentation

I was delighted to attend the Turning Tides Junior Warden awards presentation.

Awards were given to young people who had completed the Junior Warden course.  This included visiting the Police Station, Fire Station, and Lifeboat Station, they also patrolled with the Neighbourhood Wardens reporting environmental issues and learnt valuable First Aid Training.

It was fantastic to see Kursaal ward young people and families receiving these awards.
